Alpine Skiing in the Achensee region
This is the panoramic skiing area which is beyond all the hectic pace of everyday life. There is always certain to be snow here throughout the winter. The Zwölferkopf skiing area is characterised by the fact that there are no crowded pistes or long queues for the ski lifts here. The well prepared pistes mean that there is always a lot of skiing fun for the whole family. For long sleepers and late starters in the day there is a tiered pricing scheme for day tickets.
The Zwölferkopf ski area also has lifts, especially for the younger fans of skiing.
You can go straight out of the hotel up the mountain with the Karwendel-Bergbahn cable car up high over the town of Pertisau and once up in the mountains it’s on with the skis and down again at speed or just as gently as you wish down into the valley below. Your skiing pleasure begins as soon as you leave the Hotel Pfandler door.
Directly opposite the Hotel are the collection point and the practice slope belonging to Bobo-Ski School. This provides hours of fun for all the little skiers. Parents may watch their little ones having fun on skis while they enjoy a drink or an ice cream on the hotel balcony.
