Hotel Pfandler is largely accessible. All floors are served by an elevator, and every area of the hotel can be reached without steps. The ground-level entrance features a covered drop-off area for easy arrivals and departures, with parking spaces directly to the left and right of the entrance. At the reception, a lowered counter is available, and in the restaurant you’ll find wheelchair-friendly tables. Our sun terrace is also easily accessible, with no steps or thresholds.
On the ground floor, we offer three specially designed “Grenzenlos” double rooms with full accessibility.

By arrangement and subject to availability, Marlene can assist with care-related services such as wound care, stoma changes, dialysis organization, and more.
Having a stoma and going on holiday are by no means a contradiction – quite the opposite. With the right know-how and a bit of preparation, any challenges when staying away from home can easily be overcome. In addition to individually tailored stoma care and products, support with changing a pouch may sometimes be needed. If you require assistance with your stoma care, please contact us before your arrival. In a personal conversation with Ms. Entner, our registered nurse with special stoma training and many years of experience, you can discuss all your needs – ensuring you can begin your holiday at Lake Achensee with complete peace of mind.
Dialysis patients spending their holiday at Hotel Pfandler will find the nearest dialysis center in Schwaz, about 18 kilometers from Pertisau. If you prefer not to drive yourself, we will gladly arrange a specially trained taxi service to take you to your dialysis appointments.
Living with a disability? Enjoy summer and winter sports in the beautiful Achensee region. Special sports equipment for people with disabilities makes it possible. The Karwendel cable car is also well equipped for accessibility, with its valley station located right next to the hotel. Step-free access and wide doors ensure guests an easy journey up the mountain. An accessible restroom is available at the valley station. At the top, wide gravel paths invite you to enjoy a barrier-free circular walk in summer, while in winter some of the trails can also be used with sleds. For a break, we recommend the Alpengasthaus Karwendel, just 80 meters from the mountain station.
